This policy covers the Enjoy Foods food-ordering website. Contact support@enjoyfoods.ng or telephone the restaurant with privacy questions or requests.
Information we use
For delivery orders, we use your name, email, phone number, address, area or postcode, order contents and any food or delivery notes you provide. We also keep order status, timestamps and staff-confirmed payment records. Verification and security controls use limited technical information such as IP addresses, session identifiers and request counts. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in order notes.
Why we use it
We use these details to verify access to your email, accept and prepare your order, arrange delivery, provide progress updates and receipts, resolve complaints and refunds, and protect the service against misuse. Order emails are transactional messages, not a subscription to marketing.
Who receives it
Authorised restaurant staff see information needed for their work; assigned riders receive the delivery details needed to bring your food. Hostnaija hosts the website. Hostinger provides our support mailbox and processes the messages, contact information and attachments you send us for customer support. Resend processes recipient email addresses and transactional message contents to deliver verification codes, order updates and receipts. Service providers may process information outside Nigeria, subject to their applicable safeguards and terms. We do not sell customer information.
Payments
The site does not currently collect online card payments, card numbers, CVVs, card PINs or banking passwords. A future online payment option will identify its payment provider before you pay. We will update this notice before materially changing how payment data is processed.
Cookies and local storage
A secure, HttpOnly session cookie keeps verified customers signed in for up to one hour. Staff sign-in uses WordPress authentication cookies. Browser storage remembers your basket, selected delivery area and some order-navigation state. These are used for the ordering service. You can clear your browser storage or sign out; doing so does not delete order records held by the restaurant.
Retention and requests
Verification codes expire after five minutes. Session access expires separately. Order and payment records may be retained for fulfilment, support, accounting, security and dispute resolution. You may request access, correction or deletion of your details; we may need to verify your identity and retain records where required for a legitimate legal or operational purpose. Contact us to discuss your request and the records involved.
Security
We use HTTPS, restricted staff access and protected verification credentials. Keep email and delivery codes private. No online service can guarantee absolute security. If you suspect another person has accessed your order, contact the restaurant promptly.
